A Few From Dubai ::
Above :: From my first OneLight here in Dubai.
Above :: Joe McNally in old Satwa
Above :: I’m being interviewed for an Arab television station.
Above :: A friendly TV repairman in Satwa.
I’m having an amazing time here at Gulf Photo Plus. The Internet sucks here in our building. I can get online a few minutes a day right now. More to come!
Cheers, Zack

Nice shots. I think the next uber-photographer convention thing should be in Taiwan. No more Dubai’s or Boston’s (or wherever Photoshop World was). We have great food, fast reliable internet and I would be able to go to some of these workshops. Win-win all round.

Filming your trip in Dubai so we can see what went on with you over there. You know we have to keep up with our “ZACK ARIAS” – Also the BW pic was that Ambient light? Mostly every thing is clear in the shot? P.S. I am having my first Kid in July

Hey Zack,
Great to eventually meet up with you and your hardworking/keen/friendly studio manager Eric. I’m truly amazed to see your appreciation of all that turned up for your classes at Photo Friday – you looked almost shocked!
Keep up the great work and no doubt you’ll have a blast after the event and before your return home. Can’t wait to see more posts of all your desert adventures. Hopefully you’ll show us all a flipside with One Light as opposed to Joe’s Speedlight Tree.
Really hope you can do more One Light shows on the road (Worldwide).
PS – what was all that breaking glass over at Vista’s last night, I guess just a bit of jetlag and being overworked!!
Have a Blast, Nigel

The Shot of joe just makes me laugh. I am not sure why but he just looks like such a “Guy”. For those that do not the “guy” look is what my wife and daughter ease me about when you get the gassed over no clue in life look.
Edd said on April 5, 2009
Zack was indeed in the company of British Royalty….I’d bet money that is Sarah Ferguson behind him as she was just in Dubai. Check her website info for details:

I think rates has heen dropped. Due to Global crisis, very less people are going to Dubai and hotel are in Dubai are empty. They need visiters. For more information about Dubai hotels, visit the site.
