We All Live In A…

June 30, 2010 | • Workshop Events Family News

We all live in a big a$$ yellow bus. We are on the road with our OneLight Family Tour!

We are currently in Asheville, NC. As soon as we wrap up the OneLight here tonight we drive all night to DC. With the exception of Pittsburgh we are having mixers in each city and we would love for you to come out and catch some live music, win gift cards from B&H, OneLight DVDs, and network within your local photographic community. The mixers are free and open to the public. Here is where we will be…

7/1 :: Washington DC

7/6 :: Cincinnati, OH

7/8 :: Indianapolis, IN

7/11 :: Chicago, IL

7/13 :: Saint Louis, MO

7/15 :: Nashville, TN

Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for all of the details as to places and times in these cities. Hope to meet you soon!

Cheers, Zack

    Looks like Mr. Dan is also becoming a $$$uckses$$ful photographer judging by the wads of CA$H filling his pockets. Have an amazing journey guys, drive safe, y’all are a treasure for the photographic community.

  • Erin said on June 30, 2010

    That looks so fun! I will see you at the DC mixer. Want an Obama plate or scarf or shoes or faux-diamond necklace?

  • Todd - ARENA Creative said on June 30, 2010

    That thing is pretty baller! I mean, it’s no short bus… but you guys aren’t wearing helmets, either.

    We were driving out of Brooklyn Sunday night and passed by Travis Tritt on his tour bus. Don’t really know anything about the guy, but I think this bus has one up on his! First of all, it’s yellow – second of all its two tone with the chrome and the abstract pimp stripes.

  • Stephen said on June 30, 2010

    So sad you aren’t really going west of the Mississippi. Anyway, that is a shweeeeeet ride.

  • Christina Montemurro said on June 30, 2010

    My disappointment that there won’t be a mixer in Pittsburgh is dwarfed by how happy I am to be attending the workshop. Thanks for making this our great little city a stop on the tour.

  • Alfonso said on June 30, 2010

  • Tomas Webb said on July 1, 2010

    So…When you coming to Australia? 😀

  • Edd Carlile said on July 1, 2010

    Luv that BUS!!!!

  • Sam Fifer said on July 1, 2010

    It’s too bad you can’t put a little more gas in that fancy conveyance thing and come to Lincoln or Omaha Nebraska.

  • Richard said on July 1, 2010

    Sure beats the van of yours that seemed to have a disaligned, and floating driving wheel on one of your DVD’s…:)
    Yeah, come to Montreal. You’ll be surprised and glad you came to taste a little European flavor in a fully bilingual town (french/english). Besides, you’ve got quite a following in Montreal. I’ll add a Coke or pepsi to that “poutine” offered above. BTW, a poutine is a combination of french fries, curdled white cheese with gravy. A tasty classic. Worth the detour.

  • Ryan Lang said on July 1, 2010

    Come back to the west coast!

  • Nick Collins said on July 1, 2010

    You need to swing that bus through Omaha in between Chicago and St. Louis!

    I LOVE YOU ZACK, no I am not gay, but I love you.
    Your passion and feeling, your simple ways of expression all make me a better person for ever crossing paths with you. Iv’e only meet you thru words and images on a computer screen. I thank you for all of the hard work you have done for us. You have truly change me, I want to be just like you. I always am thinking of what you have taught me when I shoot, there is just so much to know. I watch and read all I can from you, I feel like some kind of cyberarias stalker. Your work ,your thoughts, your knowledge drive me to be better. I read a ton of information about photography, but mostly enjoy when I learn from you. Zack you are a special person, thank you for everything you have done for me, even though you dont even know me. I wish I had the support of my wife like you do, she thinks my photography stinks. I have that same winter depression you do except mine has come to say, so it seems.

    I got my first camera from my father when I was twelve, I took that camera every where, I shot up all of my film the first day. The years came and went but a few years ago, my youngest child (four) piced up an old photo album and started asking all kinds of questions. Next think you know I am shooting again. After saving and working and working and saving, I finally have a nice kit again. (mostly MF lenses from my childhood) and a handful of digital lenses.

    I haven’t made it through the winter yet, to those summer days even though I live in Vegas. I punch a clock to keep my family growing, living, and wanting for very little.

    Inside I know I am supposed to be paying my bills with a camera, I can feel in my bones, every click is one closer. I keep working, I keep learning and one day, maybe one day, I can be like you. A simple man who takes care of his family with a camera.

    Thanks Zack, I really mean it, thank you.

    Ps. I see you are going to be in Vegas for Photoshop World, That would be a dream, to be in one of your classes live. However, there is no way i can spare that money, I will have to settle for a hand shake. I am going to take off work the 1st and 2nd of Sept. I hope to see you entering or leaving photoshop world. So if some chubby, white, tattooed forty year old man walks up to you asking to shake your hand and take your picture, please say, “Yes.” I know in my heart you will. I cant wait to meet you. Tom

  • Ned said on July 5, 2010

    I love that prevo.. I photographed and actually had to drive one of those to the location to shoot it for a “Tour Bus” builder and limo builder that turned those into luxury buses or limos on the inside.. “Watch them mirrors!” LoL

  • Ivan D said on October 7, 2010

    That bus is sweet! I’m sure finding parking for it is a pain in the gluteus.
